RIM Brings Four BlackBerry 7 Smartphones in Cambodia

Research In Motion has put aside its financial troubles and launched some of its new BlackBerry 7 smartphones in Cambodia.

Still an emerging market, Cambodia has finally gotten access to no less than four BlackBerry 7 handsets that customers can purchase through official channels beginning this weekend.

According to RIM, BlackBerry Bold 9900, BlackBerry Bold 9790, BlackBerry Curve 9360 and BlackBerry Curve 9380 are now available from BlackBerry authorized partners. 

No word on pricing options though, but those who are really interested can check them out the nearest leading retailer.

With BlackBerry 7 operating system, RIM fans will be offered with an improved user experience, especially thanks to the new and enhanced browser that provides a significantly faster, more fluid web browsing experience.

In addition, the new platform offers optimized HTML5 performance for better gaming and video experiences. There's also the well-known universal search capability, which has been improved with support for voice-activated search.

All BlackBerry 7 smartphone now available in Cambodia come pre-loaded with a range of applications and integrated functionality that offer users increased productivity right out of the box. 

For example, all four smartphones feature the premium version of Documents To Go (free of charge), allowing users to edit or create new documents. The application can also be used as a native PDF document viewer. 

With BlackBerry Protect app that is pre-loaded on the handsets, customers' personal data can be backed up and secured in the cloud. The Social Feeds (2.0) app has been enhanced to provide users with the option to post updates to multiple social applications at the same time.
