Microsoft and the Philippines government have signed an agreement to support the addition of TV White Space Technologies (TVWS), in an attempt to provide data connectivity for public services.
Microsoft believes that TVWS can be the affordable connectivity choice local authorities have been looking for, so based on its efforts, more local communities are expected to gain access to this kind of technology in the near future.
