For Verizon customers, waiting for “the one” — the HTC One, that is — has been an exercise in patience. But the carrier finally announced this morning that HTC’s flagship device will be available on Aug. 22 for $199.99 with a two-year contract.
Introduced in February, the HTC One offers a 4.7-inch 1080p HD touchscreen, 4G LTE support and a quad-core processor. It also features HTC’s UltraPixel camera technology and software.
The smartphone has been lauded by tech reviewers and customers alike for its high-quality construction and solid performance.
But with the delayed release on Verizon, HTC One is facing a lot more competition than when it launched five months ago on AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint.
