Did you get a password reset email from Twitter last night, saying your account may have been compromised? Don’t worry, it was a mistake.
Twitter has apologized for mistakenly telling thousands of unsuspecting users their accounts may have been hacked Monday night. The company sent out an email to users stating, “Twitter believes that your account may have been compromised by a website or service not associated with Twitter.” Following the note, many took to the social network to question the email.
